3 Days Murchison Falls safari

Experience the breathtaking power of the world’s most powerful waterfall with this expertly curated 3-day Murchison falls safari adventure. This itinerary balances thrilling wildlife encounters with the serenity of the Victoria Nile.

Day 1: Journey to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your residence or hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. You will travel north through the lush countryside of Nakasongola, making a strategic stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Here, you will join a ranger for a guided walking safari to track the endangered Southern White Rhinos—the only place in Uganda where you can see them in the wild. After a delicious lunch, you will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, entering through the scenic southern gate and checking into your lodge for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Nile Boat Cruise

Rise early for a sunrise game drive across the northern banks of the Nile. This is the prime time to spot the "Big Four," including massive herds of elephants, Rothschild giraffes, lions, Cape buffaloes, and the elusive leopard.

After a mid-day rest and lunch, you will board a launch cruise upstream to the base of the falls. Along the riverbanks, you’ll witness schools of hippos, giant Nile crocodiles, and a variety of water birds like the Kingfisher. The boat stops just meters from the "Devil’s Cauldron," where the Nile explodes through a narrow 7-meter gorge. You may opt for a hike to the Top of the Falls for a spectacular panoramic view before returning to the lodge.

Day 3: Morning Game Viewing & Return to Kampala
